The agriturismo is the perfect place to rediscover ancient traditions, crafts unknown to most and dishes of the past.

Our farm offers, for the little ones, the possibility of living an experience in contact with nature, a day to spend in a farmhouse useful for getting plants and animals out of the pages of their books and make the kids understand that behind the food that arrives on the table there is the generous "EARTH", the care and passion of those who work it.

The didactic modality proposed stimulates the children and projects them towards the concept of healthy eating, is based on the principle of direct experience, of learning by doing and/or seeing people do it, and is articulated in 4 steps:

Tasting of typical products

Depending on the educational path chosen, children will be able to try their hand at various laboratory preparations, knead to create bread or learn how to make caciotta, they will observe the various plants and discover their different uses, they will visit the olive grove and assist in the pressing of the olives in the mill.

They will be in contact with simple products, of nature and will be able to enter the "tangible world" of home-made products, because this cultural heritage made up of traditions and time dedicated to local raw materials must not be lost, not only because it would mean losing our identity, but because it would be a real crime to forget where these unique and exquisite flavors come from.

We propose other activities aimed at creating in the child a sense of belonging to what surrounds him, a study path on his own roots as well as the opportunity to make an informed choice on the consumption of typical and seasonal products that belong to our territory.
We offer itineraries and activities that promote knowledge of rural activities, explaining the production processes and typical products, so that they can appreciate the territory in which they live and can appreciate it more and more with the passage of time.

With passion and diligence we pass on our knowledge and our passion to the new generations, contributing to the formation of more aware consumers, allies of a new type of agriculture: organic, regenerated and quality.

Educational Paths Offer

  • Organic agriculture and dairy laboratory demonstration
    Visit of all company activities, organic agriculture, typical IGP and DOP products, mill and finally the breeding.
    Demonstration of the transformation of milk into cheese.

    Period: all year round.

  • The art of bread-making
    Explanation of the various types of wheat, production of flour, importance of yeast , of the dough and preparation of the bread by the pupils who will finally be able to taste their sandwich.

    Period: all year round.

  • Olfactive laboratory and aromatic plants
    Visit of the company, explanation of the typical plants of the area, how to learn to recognize them and how to use them in the kitchen and at home.
    At the end of the explanation, the pupils will have to distinguish the various types of leaves and understand which plant they belong to.

    Period: all year round.

  • Dairy
    Visit of the farm with particular attention to the stable.
    Explanation of milking and preparation of the curd together with the pupils.
    Laboratory at the end of preparation of small caciottine.

    Period: all year round.

  • Olive growing: from olives to oil

    Visit of the olive grove with the possibility for the children to harvest the olives.
    Explanation of the various types of olives, their qualities and the oil they produce, how to store it and how to use it. The harvested olives will then be taken to the oil mill where the processing will take place.

    Period: all year round.

    Visit and explanation on the oil with explanation of how to carry out the tasting.

    Period: all year round.

  • Wine-growing: from grapes to wine
    Visit of the company, in particular of the vineyard.
    Collection by the boys of bunches of grapes.
    Visit to the cellar and explanation / observation of the grape harvest.

    Period: all year round.

In combination with the educational courses, we offer the participants a tasting of company products which makes the children appreciate the ancient flavors of simple and tasty foods, organic, healthy and treated with care products.

Options for Tasting

  • Breakfast only: company jam tart, fresh milk or Sorrento orange juice.
  • Packed lunch: Sandwich with fior di latte braid and raw ham, fruit from the garden and mineral water.
  • Lunch: pasta with tomato sauce, grilled sausage or fiordilatte braid and caciottina cheese, vegetables, tart with company jam and mineral water.
